About this part

Hardrace's HR-8820 trailing arm covers the rear of the 2008–2014 WRX and STI (GR/GV), pairing a hardened steel arm with a hardened rubber bush in place of the factory piece. The firmer compound cuts deflection under cornering and braking load, so the rear end holds more of its set alignment through a corner while the bush still isolates the shell from road noise. Hardrace develop the arm's angle, dimension and travel through 3D modelling, and sample-test the rubber itself on a rotorless rheometer and tensile strength tester, aiming to tighten the geometry without changing the original suspension layout.
