About the Great Tarmac Rally
The Great Tarmac Rally is a three-day tarmac rally held 23–25 October 2026, launching from Marysville in Victoria's High Country. Run by Australian Tarmac Rally Pty Limited (ATR) as a round of the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship, the 2026 event features 350-plus kilometres of closed-road competition on alpine roads, including the Reefton Spur — a 37 km stage with a roughly 95% corner ratio. First held in 2012 and based in Marysville, it expands from its previous weekend format to a three-day marathon for 2026.
